the audacious dream…

…to prepare and perform in Spain two new versions of the play:

1) a new English language version, with live music by a flamenco singer, Coral de los Reyes and percussionist, new mobile set and lighting elements, revised choreographies that come from being here in Spain just to train in flamenco, that will premiere at the September 2022 conference, “Exploring India identities through the colonial relationship. Then this English version will be ready to travel to other English-language departments in Spain, the United States, and other countries in the coming year. The revised English version will be available with live musicians and also as a bare-bones version with recorded music, depending on the budget of who supports us.

2) a Spanish language version, “Los Buenos Modales de Subditos Colonizados” with live musicians, new choreographies, texts and sets, to premiere in 2023 in cultural spaces in Cadiz and Sevilla and other parts of Spain.
